AHA Club-Only Competitions

Mild Ale Competition
The AHA would like to thank Alison Skeel and the Brewers United for Real
Potables (BURP) for hosting the Mild Club-Only Competition held December 7,
2001. This was the third of six competitions in the August to May 2001-2002
cycle, with points going toward the Homebrew Club of the Year trophy.

Of the 32 entries, the winners were:

Representing Clinton River Association of Fermenting Trendsetters (CRAFT)

Ed's No-Sparge Mild Ale

The next Club-Only Competition,
Kilts & Schillings Scottish Ales Competition, is scheduled for February 2,
2002, and will be hosted by Greg Lorton and Quality Ale and Fermentation
Fraternity (QUAFF).

The Style for the Competition is Scottish Ales, Category 5.

Entries are due January 14-25, 2002, with a $5 entry fee (checks made out to
AHA).
